When Skyla first arrived, she was a bit of a food junkie
But now having lost 7 kilos she is no longer our chunky monkey
Myrtle Turtle our cat, she will survey throughout the day
And then move onto the rest of the gang with continuous play
A back and neck rub she really disliked and would shy away from
Now nuzzles her way in for a hug as though she is queen of the prom
Always that skinny nose in the air to say I’m here can’t you see
And by Ali’s side is where Chunky is happiest with glee.
